Just off shore, three great rocks stand amid the ocean. Inland, 40 foot cliffs make a sharp division of the beach & village. The beach is clean. Of the beaches I have visited, this is one of the best.

Along the Oregon coast, it can be cold in July, and it can be warmer in December. It can be overcast all day; but the glorious sun breaks through for a couple of hours in the afternoon. On this visit, I was blessed with 2 days of sunshine despite the "nippy" weather.
